Employee Spotlight: Tony Cervantes

This month, we’re highlighting DCS Installation Manager, Tony Cervantes, who started with the company originally in 2013. Tony oversees the professional services team and is responsible for all installation projects from beginning to end. His coworkers describe Tony as having a “get it done” attitude – much needed to be successful in the installation world.

He’s been in the cabling industry since 1999 and previously held the title of project manager when he first began working with DCS. Tony has noticed a few new faces throughout his tenure with DCS, but one thing has always remained consistent – the family atmosphere.

“I love working here because people go out of their way to help others,” Tony shared. “Any company can be successful, but I believe the people who work here, the mutual respect we all have for each other and our leadership team are all so important to everyone’s individual success and happiness.”

This kind of comradery has always been important to Tony and he’s made a habit of putting his best foot forward in everything he does. Born in San Antonio, Tony is a Texas native with a big family and a wife of 31 years. Together, they have two children and love to spend time together while cooking out, especially when the Cowboys are playing. Although Tony holds immense pride in his career and position at DCS, his family is what he says he’s the most proud of in life.
