Employee Spotlight: Penny Milburn

Next in our employee spotlight series, we are highlighting Penny Milburn, a true leader when it comes to top notch customer service. As DCS’s sales and service support manager, Penny is responsible for managing the DCS inside sales support team and rarely has two days in a row that look the same – especially managing a team supporting connectivity solutions in the midst of a global pandemic. She’s worked in the datacom industry for the majority of her career, spending the last six years with DCS.

“I feel extremely honored to work alongside my team and feel like I’ve found another family here at DCS,” said Penny. “Kevin and Mike are excellent mentors and leaders that are always showing support for their team, and I feel very fortunate to learn from their experiences.”

Born and raised in Texas, Penny hails from Richardson and currently resides in Lewisville with her husband of 21 years, Terry. Together, they have five children and 11 grandchildren with one more on the way. Penny says her family is her life’s greatest joy and she and Terry spend time with them as often as possible. Outside of family, she has a passion for cars and hot rods, and would love to travel to Ireland one day.

“Penny is an absolute joy to work with, and her positive attitude and willingness to take on strategic projects enables DCS to continue to exceed our customers’ expectations,” said Mike Cox, Chief Operations Officer. “Her commitment and love for her team is admirable and something we all should strive for both professionally and personally.”
