DCS has quite literally grown at Billie’s hands. For more than nine years, he has successfully transformed the concepts and ideas of Kevin and his team into real products. He is responsible for all engineering change orders and manages the company’s SolidWorks drawings. Along the way, his work at DCS resulted in a patent for the multi-element infra-red sensor design. Prior to DCS, Billie worked as a mechanical design engineer at Netrake Corporation and Intrusion, Inc. At Intrusion, he created a fiber optic cable termination laboratory that served fiber optic cable networks at various U.S. government and military organizations. Earlier, he served as senior engineer at Texas Instruments and Honeywell where he designed various products from low noise amplifiers to the prototype for the FLIR system detector array. A proud Okie, Billie earned his bachelor’s degree at Oklahoma State University and studied Electrical Engineering at SMU. With all this impressive history, his proudest moment was becoming a grandfather.
